PVC/PU/Rubber Fire Fighting Hose Description
Fire hose is a hose for transporting high pressure water or foam
and other flame-retardant liquids. The traditional fire hose is
lined with rubber and wrapped in linen fabric. Advanced fire hose
is made of polyurethane and other polymer materials. Both ends of
the fire hose have metal joints, which can be connected with
another rubber hose, polyurethane hose, PVC fire hose root hose to
extend the distance, or connect a nozzle to increase the liquid
spray pressure.

The Classification of PVC/PU/Rubber Fire Fighting Hose
The fire hose can be divided into lining fire hose and leakage fire
hose. The lined fire hose includes rubber hose, TPU hose, polyester
rubber hose and hemp coated hose. According to the working
pressure, it can be divided into four types: 0.8MPa, 1.0MPa, 1.3mpa
and 1.6Mpa. According to the diameter, it can be divided into four
types: 50 mm, 65 mm, 80 mm, 75 mm and 90 mm. According to the
weaving method, it can be divided into plain and twill water belts.
The length of each water belt is generally 20 meters.

Q: How to maintain the fire hose?
A: ① Management. To implement the management of special personnel,
according to the quality classification, number and make a book,
timely grasp the quality and use of water hose. Establish and
improve the water hose maintenance system, and regularly educate
all staff to abide by it.
② Storage. Special storage place or storage room should be set up.
For long-term storage, the spare water hose should be stored in a
place with suitable temperature and ventilation. The water hose
should be rolled up on the drainage belt rack in a single layer,
and turned twice a year or exchanged and folded once. The water
belts on the car shall not rub with each other, and the folded
edges shall be exchanged if necessary.
③ Use. When laying, avoid sudden twists and turns; after filling
with water, avoid forced dragging on the ground and contact with
corrosive chemical substances such as oil, acid and alkali; in
areas where there may be flame or strong radiant heat, cotton or
hemp water hose shall be used; when laying water hose at height, it
shall be linked with water hose; when passing through railway, it
shall pass under railway track, and when passing through road,
water belt shall be padded to protect bridge; Prevent the water
belt from contacting with hard objects with edges and corners. When
demolishing buildings, do not throw wood, steel pieces and other
articles on the water belt; clean the water belt after use; use the
lining hose when laying water belt outside the building in cold
area.
④ Repair. If any loophole is found during use, it should be wrapped
up with wrapping cloth in time to prevent the hole from expanding,
and mark it and repair it in time after use. Regular inspection
shall be carried out at ordinary times, and any damage found shall
be repaired in time.
